The bi-plane angiography allows concurrent 3D imaging of blood vessels and abnormalities of the brain and spinal cord in a way that is not possible with monoplane angiography. A second hybrid operating room/angiography suite with monoplane angiography for vascular surgery applications will also be constructed concurrently. With an anticipated opening mid-2027, the new Hybrid Bi-Plane Angiography Suite and Operating Room will position ARMC at the cutting edge of open and endovascular neurosurgery care, which includes all forms of acute stroke treatments.
