Standing out isn’t about being different, but about being deeply yourself. Itegboje Daniel is a documentary filmmaker and a 6th year medical student at the University Of Benin. With a focus on addressing social issues and capturing real-life stories, he strives to create impactful narratives that resonate with audiences. Daniel’s talent and dedication have earned him recognition, with his films having over 25 film festival selections, 5 special screenings, 15 nominations, 4 awards across 4 continents and 12 countries which are, the United States, Canada, France, Zambia, Zimbabwe, India, Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, Benin republique, Rwanda. With his latest project being the only Nigerian project selected to compete at the Oscar qualifying short
category at the 45th Durban international film festival and also an AMVCA (Africa magic viewers choice awards) nominee. He is currently a finalist for the Chegg’s Global student prize 2025. He has been sponsored by the French embassy in Nigeria twice to take
